View Game Board Welcome to the City Life educational browser game where players compete against each other using their wits, knowledge AND their money to win in three (3) different categories:

Object of Game:

Square 100 Results:

1st Player to arrive at "Square: 100 - Finish" wins category
Player must roll the exact number of squares remaining to reach "Square: 100 - Finish"
If Player rolls a six (6), or higher number than is needed to win, they remain on the square they are on

Quiz Results: Highest Quiz Performance wins category
Advanced Results:

Players assets are converted to cash, their mortgages, Bank loans and Demerit Points ($100 per point) are paid, & 33% of their "Charity Donation" is returned + another 100% for the "Top Donator Award"
Player with the most money wins category

Getting Started:

Bank gives each Player $7000 City Life browser game dollars
Bank puts $1000 City Life browser game dollars into the "City Life Lottery: Square 58"

Die:

Die flashes when it becomes the Player's turn to play
If Player rolls a one (1) to a five (5), they advance that number of squares along the City Life browser game board
If Player rolls a six (6), they miss their turn

Player advances to "Square: 58 - City Life Lottery" and rolls the die
If Player rolls a six (6), they win the money in the City Life browser game "City Life Lottery"
Bank replaces the $1000 City Life browser game dollars in the "City Life Lottery"

Player misses three (3) turns
To attempt to get out of Jail sooner, Player rolls the die on each missed turn
If Player rolls a six (6), they get out of Jail. Player then rolls again to determine the number of squares they advance along the City Life browser game board.

Player chooses one of the following:

Advance to "Square: 82 - School" and follow the instructions for that square
Collect $1500 City Life browser game dollars from the Bank
Roll Die. If Player rolls a one (1) to a five (5), they collect from the Bank $500 City Life browser game dollars multiplied by the number on the die. If Player rolls a six (6), they collect nothing.

Properties:

Players can purchase City Life browser game "properties" from the Bank when landing on a City Life House or a City Life Tower square or, at any time, from other Players
Players can, at any time, sell City Life browser game "properties" to the Bank at the original purchase price, or sell them to other Players and negotiate the price
Visitor Fee / House:

Charge half the value of the property, or
Make opponent miss two (2) turns

Visitor Fee / Tower:

Charge half the value of the property, or
Send opponent to a House the proprietor owns
If proprietor does not own a House, send opponent to the "Detour: Square 40"

Bank Shares:

Purchasing City Life browser game "Bank shares":

Players can purchase City Life browser game "Bank shares" from the Bank when landing on a City Life browser game "Bank" square or, at any time, from other Players
Players can purchase a maximum of five (5) City Life browser game "Bank shares" from the Bank during the City Life browser game
Dividends ($100 City Life browser game dollars per share) are not paid on newly purchased City Life browser game "Bank shares" until the next time a Player lands on a City Life browser game "Bank" square

Selling City Life browser game "Bank shares":

Players can, at any time, sell City Life browser game "Bank shares" to the Bank at the original purchase price (1 share = $500) and purchase them again later, or sell them to other Players and negotiate the price
A Player can only purchase a maximum of five (5) City Life browser game "Bank shares" from the Bank during the City Life browser game no matter how many shares they have sold to the Bank
If Player sells some City Life browser game "Bank shares" to other Players, they can only purchase those shares (or additional shares) from other Players and not from the Bank

Fines & Debts:

"Fines & debts" paid to the City Life browser game "City Life Lottery: Square 58"

Quiz:

City Life browser game "Quiz" questions are asked as part of a:

Round-Robin: All Players participate in answering the random questions
School Square: Only the Player who lands on a City Life browser game "School Square" answers the questions

Bank deposits $500 City Life browser game dollars into the Player's Bank account for each correct answer they give
Players are marked on the answers they give in the City Life browser game Quiz Set (Unanswered questions are considered answered "Wrong")

Game Cards:

Player follows the instructions on the City Life browser game "game cards"
City Life browser game "game cards" include:

"Traffic Violations" with "Demerit Points"
Rewards for achievements Player has accomplished
Consequences for the unlawful deeds Player has committed
City Life browser game "Squares" Player may be sent to

Log Out:

City Life browser game continues if a Player "Logs Out" providing there are at least 2 other Players playing the game
Player is removed from the City Life browser game if they have not clicked on "die" for 10 rounds. Any property they have accumulated prior to that is returned to the Bank so that others may now purchase them.

City Life browser game - MY ACCOUNT:

City Life browser game is replaced with the "My Account" screen when "My Account" is clicked on
City Life browser game "My Account" allows Player to:

Review their assets including Bank account, property and Bank shares
Review their mortgages and loans
Review their driver license Demerit Points
Send bids on other Players assets
Offer their assets for sale to other Players
Receive offers to buy other Players assets
Receive offers to sell assets to other Players
Sell assets to the Bank
Donate to �Charity�
When City Life browser game ends & Players are brought to �Advanced Results�:
1. Players receive a 33% return on their �Charity� donations
2. Player who has donated the most City Life browser game dollars to �Charity� is also presented with the �Top Donator Award� which includes the return of all their donations
Review their �History� which details their play in every round including the Player's $1000 City Life browser game paycheck every 10 �Rounds�

City Life browser game �die� flashes when it�s the Player�s turn to click on die
Player misses turn if they do not click on �die� before their 60 second City Life browser game �Timer� runs out

City Life browser game - ADVERTISEMENT:

Player receives $200 City Life browser game dollars when �Advertisement� button is clicked on
City Life browser game �Advertisement� button is:

Displayed in each round
Removed until next round when clicked on
Not displayed when it is the Player�s turn to play
